Serena Pryne & The Mandevilles :: Heaven on the Highway
This video was such a pleasure to work on. I’d been bugging Serena for probably 3 or 4 years now that I wanted to shoot a music video for her band, and finally the time came just this past December to go to work. Conceptualiy they wanted something simple; a rock and roll performance video for a truly rock and roll band. I’m a big fan of this song, so it wasn’t hard to get inspired, and it certainly wasn’t hard to film the band, whose performance is always vibrant no matter the setting.
Special thanks to the guys at winding Path Media for letting us use their incredible space not only for this video, but also for the next Stitch video which we are currently in Post Production on. Also, special thanks to Carly Carriere who came out for a day of filming some extra footage that never ending up making the final cut. It was a good performance, but the gloominess of the day and the overall tone of the shoot just didn’t suit the upbeat nature of the performance in the video.
